See Negros Island in the middle of the country.  To travel to Mabinay from Manila, first fly to Bacolod (4th largest city in the Philippines), the capital of Negros Occidental Province, or to Dumaguete (home of 5 major universities and colleges), the capital of Negros Oriental Province.  With advance notice, Mountain Valley Guest Inn can pick you up at either city's airport. Both airports are directly on the national highway connecting the two cities. There are frequent buses (just flag down a Ceres bus on the national highway) just outside either airport to take you from either airport to Mountain Valley.
